I found a show that I wanted to download, on this page: http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=1654

The page gave me four different file-type options to choose from: 64Kbps MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Shorten, and VBR MP3. I downloaded five of the VBR MP3 files, and then got offline. Later, I got back online and went back to the same exact page, to download some more of the song files. However, this time, the only file-type available for download was Shorten! Where did the other three go to? Am I missing something here? This has also happened a couple of other times. Thanks for any help...

often (as probably in this case) the taper changes their mind and doesn't want mp3's there of the show ... they can opt to remove them and you will only be able to download the original loss-less files taht were uploaded. sorry.

EDIT: actually, this might be a problem with the eu servers (european) ... with there being two versions and it 'flipping' between the two. but not likely.

Audio12 (which has the MP3's) was down for a couple hours this afternoon so the show was pointing to the European servers which do not have a copy.

This weirdness will go away eventually when we migrate the servers over to the new system.

MP3's are back if you look at the show.
